Francis está com o advogado de Rebecca Kitson desde janeiro de 2020.
Francis nasceu e foi criado em Rhode Island, a
Rumpelstiltskin of States, pelos descendentes de irlandeses e
Imigrantes gregos. Depois de fugir da Costa Leste, ele compareceu
Lewis & amp; Clark College em Portland, OR ganhando um bacharelado
licenciatura em História. Francis é fluente em espanhol e inglês.
Francis está baseado em nossa localidade em Santa Fe.
Depois de fugir da Costa Oeste, ele foi parar em Nova Orleans,
LA, onde residiu nos últimos anos. Francis então
passou anos trabalhando na indústria de serviços, em empregos onde
muitas vezes trabalhava em estreita colaboração com imigrantes, e acabou formando
relacionamentos com pessoas de diferentes origens, de um
cidadão americano naturalizado empregador para co-
trabalhadores. Depois de vasculhar o Craigslist, ele conseguiu um emprego trabalhando na
um escritório de advocacia de imigração, começando como recepcionista, e
aprendendo no trabalho para se tornar um paralegal. Depois de fugir do
Deep South, Francis acabou no Novo México em 2019 e
continua seu trabalho em lei de imigração como gerente de caso
com Rebecca Kitson Law. Ele acha este trabalho recompensador, pois
permite que ele conheça pessoas de todo o mundo, fale
Espanhol diariamente, e com os desafios do trabalho sempre
permanece interessante.
Em seu tempo livre, Francisco gosta de literatura, cinema e peças de teatro
música regularmente, se não com habilidade. Em uma nota irrelevante: ele
compartilha o mesmo nome do personagem coveiro no
1998 Filme dos irmãos Coen, The Big Lebowski.
Janette está com a advocacia Rebecca Kitson desde fevereiro de 2019. Janette é originalmente de Stockton, Califórnia. Ela obteve seu diploma de bacharel pela Universidade da Califórnia, Santa Bárbara em Estudos Chicano / Chicana. Janette é fluente em espanhol e inglês. Janette mora em Albuquerque.
Embora a imigração seja uma parte importante da história americana, é também uma grande parte da história da própria família de Janette, ela sempre soube que queria dedicar sua carreira a ajudar a comunidade de imigrantes.
Janette passa seu tempo livre criando seu filho Diego, visitando cervejarias, passando tempo com a família e visitando museus.
José Chavira está com Rebecca Kitson Law desde
Outubro de 2019. Jose nasceu em Gallup, NM, e morou em Valle
de Zaragoza, Chihuahua, México quando era criança.
Quando ele tinha seis anos, ele e sua família se mudaram para Farmington, NM.
Ele considera Farmington sua cidade natal. José planeja obter
um bacharelado em Economia Aplicada e Gestão.
Jose é fluente em espanhol e inglês. Jose ajuda em geral
tarefas de escritório e administrativas, incluindo a abertura de novos casos
em nossos sistemas eletrônicos. José trabalha em ambos os
Locais de Albuquerque e Santa Fe.
José tem experiência direta com o processo de imigração

Mark foi o Office Manager da Rebecca Kitson Law
desde 2012, supervisionando operações, tecnologia da informação,
contabilidade financeira e desenvolvimento de negócios. Ele é um
membro da divisão ABA Practice Management e tem
consultado com vários advogados que procuram iniciar seu próprio
solo ou pequenas práticas. Anteriormente, ele dirigiu John W. Lawit
PC dba Lawit & amp; Kitson de 2009-2011 e o histórico El Rey
Teatro dba Puccini Produções de 2007-2009. Ele tem um
formação em tecnologia jurídica, tendo trabalhado para a área de TI
Departamento da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Novo México
Por seis anos. Ele possui um diploma duplo de Bacharel em Artes em
Criminologia e Psicologia e Bacharel em Ciências em
Interpretação de linguagem de sinais. Mark viajou para mais
12 países, incluindo um desempenho temporário de quatro meses
pesquisa na África Oriental, e estudou francês, latim e
Linguagem gestual americana.
Mark é uma empresa e membro do conselho da Mother Road
Companhia de Teatro, atuou no Conselho de Administração da OLE Education
Fund de 2011 a 2019, foi intérprete voluntário da First
Igreja Unitarista por cinco anos, e é um ministro ordenado
(não confessional) que oficializou dezenas de casamentos.

Stephanie trabalha com Rebecca Kitson Law desde janeiro de 2018. Ela é originalmente de Tampa, Flórida. Ela recebeu seu B.A. em Criminologia e Espanhol pela University Of New Mexico. Stephanie é fluente em inglês e espanhol. Stephanie mora em Albuquerque.
Stephanie foi atraída pela lei de imigração porque tem uma forte paixão por defender os direitos dos imigrantes e trabalhar na RKL foi um passo na direção certa. Stephanie adora que todos os funcionários da RKL tenham empatia e realmente desejem ajudar a comunidade de imigrantes. Em seu tempo livre, ela adora praticar snowboard e caminhar com seus cachorros.
Ximena está com Rebecca Kitson Law desde junho de 2020. Ximena Formou-se na Universidade do Novo México com um B.A. em Psicologia. Ximena é fluente em espanhol e inglês. Ximena serve como o primeiro ponto de contato para futuros clientes, coletando informações de entrada e agendando consultas. Ser o produto de pais imigrantes deu a Ximena uma visão especial do que muitas famílias que trabalham com RKL estão buscando. Ela gosta de poder se conectar com a comunidade de imigrantes e ajudá-los em um processo pelo qual seus próprios pais tiveram que passar. Falar e se conectar com pessoas que têm histórias e objetivos diferentes é muito inspirador e humilde.
Em seu tempo livre, Ximena adora passar o tempo ao ar livre, caminhando, correndo e levando seu cachorro para passear. Ela também gosta de viajar e ficar com a família. Ximena também tem especialização em Art Studio e passa grande parte do tempo livre pintando.
Yolanda está com Rebecca Kitson Law desde janeiro
2014. Ela tem mais de uma década de experiência em admissão e
atendimento ao cliente, e anteriormente estudou Negócios
Tecnologia no IIA. Ela é originalmente de Albuquerque, NM.
Yolanda é fluente em inglês e espanhol. Ela lida
chamadas telefônicas recebidas para ambos os locais e cumprimentos walk-in
clientes na localidade de Albuquerque.
Sua experiência anterior trabalhando com imigrantes no
sistema de direito da família abriu seus olhos para as dificuldades únicas

Bio em breve
Saul was born in Phoenix, Arizona and lived there for about 7 years until moving to Albuquerque. He loves Albuquerque and at this point consider himself more New Mexican than from Arizona. His favorite thing about Albuquerque is the weather. He attended Central New Mexico Community College first and received an associate’s degree in political science and an associate’s degree in general studies in 2022. He then attended the University of New Mexico and obtained a Bachelor’s in Sociology with a minor in Political Science in 2024. Saul would like to continue expanding his education but for now a much needed break is due. He was drawn to immigration law because he has a huge interest in human rights, social justice, and legal systems. He also knows that he has a chance to directly impact people’s lives. Saul is a first generation American and his parents immigrated from Mexico. Being able to help individuals who are often vulnerable and are part of communities facing significant challenges is meaningful to him. He also loves the diversity in immigration law. It’s a field where every case is different. Each client has their own unique story and being able to gather all the puzzle pieces and put them together to view the full picture is rewarding. His interests outside of work revolve around sports. Saul is a huge soccer fan and loves playing recreational soccer, outdoor or indoor, and his favorite position to play is goalkeeper. He loves watching new shows (novelas) and spending time with his 3 dogs. He also enjoys golfing on the weekends. Saul enlisted into the U.S. Army immediately after his 18th birthday.
Cynthia was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco (Mexico) but grew up in Lakeview, Oregon. Cynthia attended high school at Colegio de Bachillerato COBAEJ EMSAD and obtained a certification as an IT technician. However, she plans to become a Physical Therapist down the road. Her life purpose has always been to help others in any way she can. She believes that RKL, aside from being extremely professional, is comprised of super caring and empathetic individuals that can relate to the cases they work with. She believes these qualities allow her team to put themselves in the client’s shoes and take that extra mile to make sure they provide the absolute best to the families they help. Cynthia now gets to help families reunite, stay together, and participate in ensuring they reach their goals for a better tomorrow. The satisfaction of our client’s gratitude at the end of their Journey, is really the top motivation for her to continue doing what she does. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys playing the piano and volunteering at the food bank and local Orphanages. She also likes to paint and make candles. On top of it all, she dedicates her weekends to her photography business.
Ilse is from Mexico City and studied at Universidad Motolinia del Pedregal. Ilse holds a Degree in Law, is looking to enroll in a Master program in the future. What she likes the most about immigration law is how gratifying it is, how it can change someone’s life. She describes it as a priceless experience to know you are helping people reunite with their families, finally able to live safely and out of the shadows. Ilse’s biggest passion is eating and cooking, pretty much anything related to food. She also really enjoys listening to music, dancing, watching movies, and series. Ilse is a big NFL fan, and as soon as the season starts, she spends her Sundays watching the games. Ilse is an admirable polyglot able to speak Spanish, English and Italian fluently and is currently taking French lessons to be able to speak it just as well. Her goal is to speak at least 5 languages soon!
Rebeca is from Tamaulipas, Mexico, and studied at Instituto de Ciencias y Estudios Superiores (I.C.E.S.T) to earn a bachelor’s degree in nutrition. Although she has finished her studies for the time being, she hopes to continue her education in the future and learn new skills. When Rebeca joined the team she had no knowledge about immigration law, but as she grew into her role, she also grew to understand some of the processes involved. What she likes about working at Rebecca Kitson Law is that all her coworkers try their best to uphold a good work environment. This has allowed her to experience good interactions and believes that with great teamwork anything is possible. Rebeca has played sports all of her life, but the one she dedicated the most time to was rhythmic gymnastics. She was in the sport for 8 years where she was part of the state and national team. She considers that this strengthened her discipline, and because she felt well disciplined, it allowed her to earn the highest grades in all of her university classes.
In her spare time, Rebeca loves to paint. Although she does not consider herself an expert painter, she really enjoys doing this hobby with her loved ones. She also likes dancing, reading, going to the gym, yoga, and watching series/movies. Rebeca lives in a city with a beach, so it is natural that she also loves to go for a walk, watch the sunset, have a drink with friends and enjoy the present.
Marina was born in Yucatan, Mexico and raised in between Merida, Yucatan and Mexico, Missouri. As the daughter of an immigrant herself, Marina was raised in a bicultural and bilingual household.
She graduated with a Law Degree from Anahuac Mayab University in December of 2022 and complemented her studies in human rights and international law in Madrid, Spain.
Marina has always had a passion for helping others and found her true calling in immigration law, where she feels she is able to make a real difference in people’s lives every day. She began working in the field in 2022 and focused mainly on humanitarian law before joining the RKL team in 2023.
In her free time, Marina enjoys watching Gilmore Girls, reading, baking, attending exercise classes and spending time with her dogs.
Georgina is a passionate and driven legal professional who earned her law degree in Mexico in 2021. She discovered that humanitarian immigration was the perfect field to channel her skills and energy. For Georgina, advocating for her clients isn’t just a career — it’s a heartfelt commitment. Every story she encounters inspires her, and she takes great pride in helping those who need a hand. When she’s not working, Georgina loves spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, staying active, visiting new places, and continuously challenging herself to grow and improve.
Maureen studied at International University UNINTER in Morelos, Mexico, and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. What attracted Maureen to Rebecca Kitson Law is her deep connection to her family experiences. She has family members who have struggled for years to have gain legal status in the United States and knows how difficult and unfair being an immigrant can be. That is why she likes helping others in this situation, and why she believes it is a fulfilling and rewarding experience.
In her spare time, Maureen is a certified makeup artist and enjoys a variety of different hobbies. She loves learning new languages and going to the gym. Marueen is a fan of documentaries and short films. She loves traveling, taking road trips with her boyfriend, and going to concerts.
Javier joined Rebecca Kitson Law in January 2024 as an intake specialist and quickly progressed to client services specialist, leveraging his attention to detail and research skills. Born and raised in Villa Canales, Guatemala, he is a student at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, holding a technical degree in special education, a bachelor’s in psychology, and nearing completion of his master’s in clinical psychology and integrative psychotherapy. As someone with ADHD, he aims to establish a private practice for neurodivergent youth and adults. His interest in immigration law stems from personal experiences that have affected his ability to see family members. He values his role at Rebecca Kitson Law its positive impact on the Guatemalan immigrant community while supporting his professional growth and education. Outside of work, Javier enjoys reading, listening to video essays, exploring nature, traveling, playing video games, and engaging with the local art and music scene. He also has a hobby in graphic design, stemming from a secondary interest discovered during vocational testing, and previously worked as an audit/hearer as a college inclusion assistant. Since being diagnosed with ADHD as an adult, he has become a passionate advocate for neurodivergent inclusion and accessibility.
Gerardo is from Guadalajara, Mexico. At age 16 he moved to Michigan with his family and later attended West Virginia University, where he studied Globalization and Development. He obtained a research scholarship for his project “Food Link”, where he mapped and forged a green economic chain with local food producers to fight food insecurity in West Virginia and Mexico. He was also awarded the “Catalyst for Campus Change Scholarship” for making symbolic murals on campus.
He began working in the legal sector after the pandemic when most Law Firms began to move their services remotely. Having met many family members and friends struggling to live legally in the USA or escaping from dangerous situations, he became motivated and decided to dive into Immigration Law services. He has acquired many years of experience. Gerardo is also interested in social well-being, and he coaches QiGong and Tai Chi in his free times. He also paints, curates art exhibitions, plays guitar and likes to spend time in nature. He has been to 38 countries and to 43 states in the USA.
